For Windows users converting over to the open source licensed Firefox browser from Internet Explorer, there is an easy-to-follow process to convert your IE bookmarks for use in Firefox.

Firefox has the capability of importing settings/bookmarks/cookies etc. from other browsers. If you are migrating from Internet Explorer, open Firefox and select File > Import and you will see the Import Wizard screen.

Select Internet Explorer & then select Next.

On the next screen you can select what to import. It makes sense to migrate everything, so just leave it as-is and select Next.

Select Finish.
