Q:
We have a folder which appeared in the file system. It is empty and has no name. If I try to delete it I get message - Error Deleting File Or Folder, "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk." Same with trying to name it, cut and paste it to recycle bin, etc. You can open it and it is empty. I tried to delete it in safe mode and same thing happens. |

Had the same problem. Folder with no name and couldnt delete it. Use this little app from here. http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ Install, then right click on the folder, select unlock. It might pop up a window saying there is no lock on the folder, select an action. In the drop down select Delete, and voila! its gone. |
